The following downloads are for the convenience of all ProRep Users:
The ProRep Update is all that you need to update your currently installed ProRep software. The Update can also be used to initially install ProRep. The Update does not include the Help system files, tutorial or manual. They can be separately downloaded and installed by using the links below. Download Instructions1. Click on the link to download the ProRep Update Software. Your browser will ask you where you want to save the file (or program). Do NOT save it to the folder that you want to contain or already contains the ProRep software. You can save it in any other folder such as the TEMP folder. Make sure to remember the name and location of the folder. 2. To install the software, make sure that no one is running ProRep. Then select Start > Run > Browse. Find the folder where the setup.exe file is saved. Highlight setup.exe and select Open. Then click OK and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. Make sure to install the software to the folder where you originally installed ProRep. 4. If ProRep is being run on more than one computer, follow one of the instructions below: A. If the ProRep software (prorep32.exe) is being run from a network server, go to each work station and run the setup.exe program in the ProRep folder on the network. B. If the ProRep software (prorep32.exe) is being run from a local hard drive, make sure that the setup.exe file that was downloaded is in a drive/directory that the each computer can access. Then, from each computer repeat step 3.
The Electronic User's Guide is the full ProRep manual. After the E-User's Guide is downloaded, it can be viewed from the Help menu in ProRep. Non-commercial reproduction of this document is permitted for training and reference purposes only. Any other commercial or non-commercial reproduction of this document is prohibited. To download the Electronic User's Guide: 1. Right click on the link below and save the file prmanual.pdf to a folder named c:\prorep\manual\, or to the sub folder named manual under the folder where ProRep was installed. 2. The Electronic User's Guide is a PDF file that can be viewed on-screen or printed with the Free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
From time to time we update our example ProRep database to showcase more features. To download the Example Database: 1. Right Click on the link below and save the file prxmpl.zip to a folder named c:\prorep\prdata\, or to the sub folder named prdata under the folder where ProRep was installed. 2. Unzip the file to the prdata folder overwriting the existing files. NOTE: this will erase any changes you may have made to the example database. If you would like to view the example database without overwriting your current example database, extract the zip file to a new folder and direct ProRep to that folder.
These are the default icons that can be used for adding user-defiined buttons to ProRep's toolbar. To download the Toolbar Icons: 1. Right click on the link below and save the file toolbar.zip to the ProRep folder. 2. Using Windows Explorer or My Computer open the folder where the ProRep software is installed. Look for a sub folder named toolbar. If a sub folder named toolbar does not exist select File > New Folder and name it toolbar. 3. Unzip the files into the Toolbar folder. You can use PKZIP or WinZip to "unzip" the icons.
